Meet Adina Gray
Adina’s career spans more than two decades in higher education in Canada, including teaching, leading AI initiatives, and delivering faculty and professional training. Her move into AI grew from a long-standing interest in how technology shapes teaching, learning, and organizations. Through PurpleOwl AI, Adina delivers keynotes and practical workshops that make AI accessible to non-technical audiences, combining clear explanation with engaging, applied learning. Her work focuses on how AI is changing work, skills, and opportunity.
Over the past few years, she has brought that perspective to audiences across North America, Europe, and Latin America, including the AI for Good Summit in Geneva and other international AI events. She also contributes her expertise to two UN working groups under the United for Smart Sustainable Cities (U4SSC) initiative, focused on people-centred AI adoption and the future of work and skills in the age of AI.
